Hindley
review - Saturday Jan 5th 2008
Macleod
returned to their Spiritual home for the third time, and amazingly,
with their third drummer, only this time, Dug took the mantle of the
drum throne. The usual packed and enthusiastic crowd were present, to
make this gig a real stand out, cheering the lads on, as they
thundered thru a blistering set of Rock classics, with audience
participation, and pizza aplenty adding to the proceedings. Next stop,
Dukinfield town hall, for Stalybridge bikers annual rock ball,
Saturday, Jan 26th. Macleod are firing hard on all cylinders, and
ready to claim the North in 2008!

HAPPY
NEW YEAR EVERYONE
The band have
started the new year by parting company with ex drummer Andy Davies.
However, instead of recruiting another one Dug Macleod has now taken
up drumming duties along with lead vocals. Dug is a very accomplished
and technically adept drummer. Much more so in-fact than any of our
previous drummers. Doug encompasses the power of Tommy Aldridge with
the technical ability of Neil Peart and the feel of Ian Paice. 2008
looks like its going to be a very interesting year.....

MACLEOD
HIT MIDDLESBROUGH
The band are playing
in Teeside this weekend 27th October at Steelies club in Acklam
Middlesbrough. this is the first club gig the band have done. There
seems to be a lot of clubs putting on rock bands now compared to a few
years ago, looks like the blue rinse bingo crowd are a thing of the
past........or maybe they are just letting their perms down.....
LEE
PROVIDES FISH SUPPORT!
Bass Player lee has recently been helping out his former band Stone
Soul River by providing bass duties for them on some of their gigs
during the Fish support tour, including several thousand people at the
Glasgow Academy. Lee has already completed tours with Joe Bonomassa
fairly recently....
